Dubuque Museum of Art Exhibition "Industry of Yesterday"

I will be exhibiting some of my images from "Artifacts of Industry" at the Dubuque Museum of Art.
The images in this show are from the Dubuque Meat Series.

Art showing at Zanzibars Coffee Adventures

Showing images from the Blaul's Sons series.
This series was shot in Southeastern Iowa several years ago.
The images are photos of the remains of an industrial coffee and spice roasting, milling and packaging facility that
was in operation in the mid to late 1800's. The equipment that remained was marked Jabez Burns. I also want to note that
the 32"x40" images from this series have been generously marked down from their original price.

"Out of the Way" Exhibition

New work from my series "Spoils" will be on exhibition. This series explores the remains of Iowa's past coal mining industry. My good friend, Fritz Goeckner will be showing his work "Cozy in the Bossom of the ByPass" as well.

Des Moines, IA Show

I will be showing and selling some of my new work from the series "Spoils" at Catchlight Sudio in the Fitch Building in Des Moines,IA September 5th from 5pm-9pm. This series continues my exploration of the industrial past of Iowa.

Coal mining in Iowa started in the mid 1800's and hit it's peak in 1918. Coal was used for heating and cooking but the big consumer of coal was the railroad. Coal hasn't been mined in Iowa since 1995.
